Performance, Party, Break
Fancy a break between two exhibitions at the Pinakothek der Moderne? Then come along to FLUX.
In October, Munich is once again hosting ‘More Museum for Everyone’: for the 27th time, over 100 museums, collections, galleries, churches, art spaces and special venues are inviting visitors to the Long Night of Munich’s Museums. Here, you can recharge your batteries with great food and delicious drinks from our catering partners, listen to music, enjoy drag performances or get creative yourself.
At Open4Making with Ronit, you can build your favourite dish yourself. This time, the theme is: The Long Banquet! Building food for everyone.
Whether it’s chips, pizza, a power bowl or your very own made-up favourite dish? Anything is possible in this workshop – but there’s no cooking involved! All our favourite foods will take shape on one large, shared table. A banquet that we’ll paint, glue, build, draw or create as a collage ourselves.
The table is set – now all that’s missing is the soundtrack: our DJ sets will keep you going through the night, whilst Envy Mor LaRue and ScarLettT bring glamour to FLUX with their drag performances.
Envy Mor LaRue – the Turkish Delight of the Munich and Augsburg drag scene. Sweeter and curvier than baklava, she’ll enchant you with her emotional performances, mesmerising make-up skills and her cheeky, sharp tongue. You won’t want to miss this!
From her distinctive drag king roots as KingTenu to opulent, genre-bending glamour: ScarLettT brings versatile concept looks, razor-sharp lip-syncing and uncompromising queer visibility to Munich’s stages.
Come along, make yourselves comfortable, recharge your batteries a bit, and then carry on exploring the Long Night.
