On 29 April 2026, the indoor area of FLUX will open in the winter garden of the Pinakothek der Moderne, inviting visitors to linger both inside and outside.
At FLUX, you can relax without having to buy anything. It is a place for everyone – open, colourful and participatory.
The idea behind FLUX: a vibrant community, conversations and exchange. The aim is to integrate culture into everyday life and create a sense of belonging – in the middle of the city.
FLUX was designed by London-based artist Morag Myerscough. She says: ‘FLUX is a place full of colours where you can let your imagination run wild. A place that fills your heart with joy and offers endless possibilities.’
Guck & Schluck
A relaxed start to your weekend at the Pinakothek der Moderne!
With a one-hour guided tour of a highlight or a current special exhibition, you can get to know the museum better. Afterwards, there’s a free drink at the Paloma Bar – time to chat and kick off the evening in a relaxed way.

We’ll meet at 4.00 pm at the information desk in the Rotunda of the Pinakothek der Moderne. Please register for the event here free of charge or book your ticket directly at the museum ticket office.
Afterwards, FLUX and the Paloma Bar will treat you to a complimentary drink. To claim your free drink, please arrive at the Paloma Bar on time at 5.10 pm with your belongings and redeem your free drink there upon presentation of your ticket and booking confirmation.
Please note: To take part in the event, you’ll also need a ticket for the museum. Children and young people under 18 get free entry.
